This post is written with the use of Windows Live Writer, a desktop application program for editing and posting posts to your Blog.
It integrates with Beta Blogger. I can download any post from Blogger into WLW, edit it, and post it again.
I can add hyperlinks, pictures, and even blockquotes. And it really is WYSIWYG.
It has the possibility to edit html as well, so I guess it is a powerful tool for you bloggers.
There is one problem: I can't add Blogger Labels.

This is what people say:
Yes, the only thing we have to do is re-edit the post once is published and add the label... still worth it though, it's much more advanced than any competitor... thoughy I'd like to save posts locally and it just looks like you do that and you actually don't, it's all an interface of the Blogger server.
I´ve try windows live writer and it´s cool!!! I see that you uses the 'read more' in your posts. How can i use in my blog to? Would you share this info?
Thanks and congratulations for your site/blog. It´s great!
@Claudia: check out these posts for Beta Blogger or Blogger Classic
Hans need your help.. Tried to add my beta blog but it kept prompting that i should customise the weblog API URL, and the following values were not customised feed-id.. Pls help?
@Anonymous: check out the WLW help-pages and faq's. I saw some posts there concerning Blogger integration. I guess it has to do with your template, that is missing several lines of code that WLW needs to connect to the API.
You can make labels (they call it tags). You just need the latest version 1.0 (145). It used to be available via plugins but it is now built-in.
They come in various flavors including technorati, flickr, del.icio.us, and more including the option to create your own customized version.
Live Writer is nice but it's a memory hog so I wouldn't keep it open indefinitely or it will soak up all your resources. You can read more about it here.
Keep up the good work Hans.
Cheers!

Love your site! Is there a way I can add that tool at the bottom of each of your posts that has those little box images for bookmarking posts? Cheers!
@Freddy: take a look at my tutorial on social bookmarking.
When I tried to install WLW I got the following error message:
Windows Live Writer(Beta) requires the installation of the .NET framework. Please install this before installing Windows Live Writer(Beta).
What does this imply and is it really worthwhile for a non-techie PC user who basically uses his PC for surfing , with occasional Word, and Excel work thrown in?
@Milind: I guess you can only use WLW when you have a windows hotmail account, and a .NET passport, or something like that. My advice: if you feel okay with the Blogger interface, don't use WLW. I don't use it myself anyway.
I use Windows Live Writer for my blog posting sometimes. I like many of it's features - and it comes in handy when Blogger is slow or down. I would like to see an option for Blogger labels instead of Technorati, etc. I have to use an image source code to put in images, it won't let me upload straight to blogger without an ftp account.
@Jay: I agree with you on the labels. That would be nice to have.
Another problem is that you can not upload images to Blogger. Either you have to first upload them using web interface than include in WLW or after publishing the post.
@Shrish: that's why I stopped using it.
